Egyptian striker Amir Zaki is set to pay the price for a poor second half of the season and be released by Wigan. BBC Arabic are being reported on Egyptian news site Filgoal as saying the Latics will not be offering Zaki another chance.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce, speaking to Sky Sports, said the lack of goals from the talented Egyptian meant, "we had lost our cutting edge."
