Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce has praised Tony Pulis for the way he has guided Stoke City to Premiership safety.

Beaten at the Brit on Saturday, Bruce said: "I have the utmost respect for what Tony has done.

"It is an outstanding achievement for him and his players and they thoroughly deserve it."
