Wigan Athletic manager Steve Bruce says he is focusing on being well clear of the relegation zone before entertaining thoughts of Europe.
The Latics are enjoying a fantastic run this season, sitting eighth on the league table but Bruce is not getting too carried away just yet.
"The performances we have put in of late have been very, very good," Bruce said on Setanta Sports News.
"We have to carry that on.
"We have to get to that (safety) mark. If we do that then we can start chasing that dream.
"If one of the top four gets to Wembley for the FA Cup then seventh comes into play. Now we are in a position where we might challenge for that, but to do that we have to beat West Ham.
"West Ham are above us at the moment and are on a good run, so it will be interesting," he added about Wednesday's meeting.
