Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce insists it's not about revenge this weekend against Birmingham City.

"It's not a defining game but whoever wins can make a huge step forward," he told the Wigan Evening Post.

"I had six decent years at Birmingham, and of course their team is virtually the one I put together.

"Whatever has gone on in the past is in the past. I have fond memories of Birmingham but I'm determined to get a win - that's my job."
