Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce admits he's grateful to the support of chairman Dave Whelan.
The Latics' chief said: "I am a year into the job and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The chairman shelled out a hell of a lot of money for me, and I hope I have repaid him in some way.
"We needed the win against Everton, and we also needed the Henri Camara goal. We are playing in the best league in the world against some of the best defenders.
"It's hard to score goals, you certainly have to work for them. It is therefore great to see someone coming into the team and scoring as Camara did."
