Wigan boss Steve Bruce has praised recent addition Lee Cattermole who moved from Middlesbrough in July.

The Latics have an FA Cup fixture against Tottenham on Friday that Cattermole is likely to miss and Bruce says it is a major blow to the squad.

"Lee has been a fantastic signing. He is playing out of his skin. He is only 20 but he is practically leading the team," he said.
