Wigan's Honduran star Wilson Palacios is struggling to speak English, but manager Steve Bruce says he is happy for the midfielder to express himself on the pitch.
Palacios has injected bite and steel to midfield and his performances speak for themselves despite his failure to tackle the language barrier.
Bruce told the Manchester Evening News: "Wilson is playing some terrific football. He has come out of his shell and he's got a huge future ahead of him.
"Both and he and Antonio Valencia are still trying hard to master the language but they are certainly expressing themselves on the field and this is what matters.
"They're a terrific pair and I'm delighted with how things are going for the team but I've told them we haven't achieved anything yet and there's still a long way to go."
