Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is tightlipped over his interest for Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant.

"He's going to Wigan yesterday and Real Madrid today," said Bruce at a Wednesday press conference.

"With speculation you're never going to get me to comment on other people's players, that's for sure.

"I had Jermaine before so I know what he's all about, he's a very good player but that's the way it is at the moment."
