Wigan Athletic and Blackpool are eyeing Auxerre midfielder Valter Birsa.
The Daily Mail says the Slovenia international impressed in the World Cup and is out of contract in the summer.
Liverpool have also been alerted to the 24-year-old's availability and could make a cut-price offer in January.
Birsa has impressed in the Champions League and scored for Auxerre against Ajax this week.
