Wigan Athletic boss Chris Hutchings is chasing unsettled Fulham skipper Michael Brown.

The former Tottenham and Sheffield United schemer was a regular in the Cottagers midfield last season but is understood to be looking for a move back up north after becoming unsettled in London.

Although no official bid has been lodged for Brown, Hutchings is hoping a move to the JJB Stadium will appeal to the 30-year-old, says the Lancashire Evening Post.
