Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is pressing to land Birmingham City midfielder Olivier Kapo.
The People says Bruce paid Juventus £3million to bring the French star to the Premier League and wants to take him to the JJB Stadium for the same fee because Kapo has fallen out of favour under Alex McLeish.
It comes just days after Bruce swooped for Honduras midfielder Wilson Palacios.
