Wigan Athletic are confident closing a deal for Real Mallorca defender Ivan Ramis.
The Sun says Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is set to beat off Everton, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Celtic and make Ramis, 27, his second signing of the summer.
A source confirmed last night: "Although there is plenty of interest in Ivan, we are convinced that he will end up at Wigan."
