Wigan and Watford in competition for Chelsea's Chalobah

Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah could be set for another loan move this season.

The highly-rated 18-year old midfielder, who can also operate in defence, is likely to be sent to a Championship club to gain more first team experience.

Chalobah missed out on a loan to Premier League clubs Sunderland and Crystal Palace and is set to end up at either Wigan Athletic of Watford.

The England U21 international impressed with the Hornets last season but they do not want to pay his £35,000-a-week wages whilst Wigan are looking for a new midfielder after losing James McCarthy to Everton.
