Liverpool are expected to send Jermaine Pennant to Wigan Athletic on-loan.
Stoke City are also keen, though the Daily Mail says Pennant is set to join his former Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce at the JJB on-loan.
This comes after Pennant priced himself out of a £3.5 million move to Real Madrid.
