Wigan Athletic have reportedly agreed a fee of around £750,000 for goalkeeper Scott Carson.
The 27-year old is currently under contract with Turkish club Bursaspor but could be sold to the Latics for a knockdown price.
Former West Bromwich Albion number one Carson joined Bursaspor last summer but is on the verge of returning to England as new Latics boss Owen Coyle seeks competition for current gloveman Ali Al Habsi.
