Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy says their clash with Blackpool is make or break.
McCarthy believes their forthcoming trip to Blackpool is their "biggest game of the season".
"You can't put into words how big this weekend's match against Blackpool is going to be, what a game that's going to be," said McCarthy, whose side lost 1-0 at Chelsea at the weekend.
"Our preparation over the last few weeks has served us well and got us into a great frame of mind come game time and we know that come Saturday we'll be able to give Blackpool a real game."
McCarthy told Latics Player: "What we do need to find is that little bit of a cutting edge up front that at times we just lack.
"It showed at times against Chelsea and we need to get it back for the biggest game of the season."
