The wife of Diego Simeone has revealed the Atletico Madrid coach turned down a massive offer from PSG.

Simeone is preparing to return to France for the Europa League final against Olympique Marseille to be staged in Lyon.

His wife, model Carla Pereyra, told Informalia: "Diego has received very important proposals. Paris Saint Germain wanted to pay him double than what he has signed with Atlético, but we want to live here. Diego and I also like Spain."

Carla says she will be in Lyon for the final.

"I will not go alone, I will also take Francesca, our daughter (almost two years old), my parents, my in-laws and more family will go, we will be a legion."
