Connor Wickham was delighted to be part of Crystal Palace's victory at Chelsea.
That win convinced Wickham that Palace is the perfect place to kick-start a career which faltered during four years on Wearside, following an £8m move from Ipswich.
Asked if he was aware of his status as Mourinho's nemesis, he replied to the Mirror: “Yep. So if anyone wants to know how to beat Chelsea at the Bridge, give me a call.
"But I believe I'm now at a club where it might no longer be a big surprise if we beat the big clubs.
“In the Sunderland game, Chelsea went one up and it was my fault — the ball went over my head for a corner when I could have headed it — so to get the equaliser was even more important.
“This year wasn't a surprise to me - we're not going into any game thinking we can't win."
