The much-anticipated and dragged out bid to take over Rangers FC is expected to finally be finished this by the end of this week.
Businessman Craig Whyte is still trying to sort out a few points he wants solved before the process is complete to take the reins from Sir David Murray.
Sources close to Whyte have told Scottish papers, in particular The Scotsman, 'that this is the week' where everything will be concluded and the Glasgow giants will be under new ownership.
Reports suggest that there is still a mountain of paperwork to be sifted through but when it eventually is finalised, incoming boss Ally McCoist will be given some cash to go after players he wants to strengthen the squad currently overseen by Walter Smith.
