Why John Terry will give John Stones a Chelsea lesson Saturday

COMMENT: The Champions League is back! The greatest competition in football is back!

I can't wait, the Champions League is simply the best - you can't beat it. Honestly when Chelsea won that Champions League in 2012 it was the best night of my life. I would have so loved to have been there and I really hope that one day I will see Chelsea win The Champions League live.

I have been to every round of the Champions League proper apart from the Final. And now it starts all over again next week. Starting with a home tie against Maccabi Tel-Aviv. The perfect opportunity for Chelsea to register their first home victory of the season. Before, however, we have Everton away.

Now we always struggle there, and who can forget our unbelievable win last season. A 6-3 victory away from home can't be sniffed at. Throw in the fact that the first match after this whole John Stones saga comes against the club that pursued him all summer... We could be in for a real cracker!

A big question is will John Terry start? For me he has to. He was the best defender in the league last season, maybe in the world, and Chelsea are conceding goals for fun at the moment. Please start him!

Another big question is will the formation change? Jose Mourinho has hinted at changes and I will not be surprised to see the 4-3-3 formation be set out. I also think Branislav Ivanovic's luck is up for now. He's really struggled as everybody has said and I think Cesar Azpilicueta will go back to his original right back position with Baba Rahman coming in at left back for his debut.

In an ideal world, perhaps it would be better if the Maccabi Tel-Aviv game came before Everton as I am pretty sure Mourinho will be ringing the changes for the Israelis. However, this is not an ideal world and this makes the game against Everton even tougher, especially as it's the first game back after the international break.

Oh and for any Chelsea fans wanting to get to a game, the Maccabi Tel-Aviv match is on general sale so get on it! In my opinion midweek games are the best. The atmosphere seems to be better and more exciting for fans. Should be a great night of European football.

Keep the blue flag flying high,
