The German FA were forced to backpedal today when announcing Shkodran Mustafi's move to Arsenal.
The Daily Star says they appeared to confirm the move had gone through this morning on their official website.
An article headlined “World champion Mustafi moves to Arsenal" was published just before midday today.
And in the story, it read: “Arsenal have increased their quota of German players with the transfer of world champion Shkrodan Mustafi from Valencia."
That's despite there being no official confirmation from the Gunners.
Less than an hour later the story was nowhere to be seen on the site.
Instead, the German FA had rung the changes and reported Mustafi was “set for Arsenal move".
Despite them jumping the gun, the move is expected to go through without a hitch.
