Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has TWICE made an attempt to open talks with Neymar about leaving Barcelona.

Florentino remains in the hunt for the Brazilian, whose father, it is claimed, has ended all talks over a new deal with Barca.

El Confidencial says Florentino first made an approach to Neymar's camp in December and the second came soon after in January this year.

With the Ballon d'Or held in Switzerland, Neymar flew to the event via private jet, while Dad traveled by commercial.

Neymar Santos touched down in Zurich where he met with Florentino and made it clear that 'Neymar Junior would not mind signing for Real Madrid'.
