Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas could see the funny side to his name being omitted from the team sheet for their Carling Cup win over Fulham.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea are blaming the extraordinary gaffe of former manager Carlo Ancelotti's name appearing on their Carling Cup teamsheet on a member of their administrative staff using last season's template to fill in Wednesday night's line-up.

But no heads will roll at this trigger-happy club for the rogue sheets - being hunted by memorabilia collectors - as new boss Andre Villas-Boas saw the amusing side.
