Manchester United fullback Rafael da Silva played against Fulham yesterday in twin brother Fabio's boots.

The Mail on Sunday says Rafael sparked head-scratching on Saturday when he was spotted playing against Fulham in his brother's boots.

Rafael went on to the pitch at Craven Cottage wearing a pair of bright yellow Nike boots with 'Fabio' stitched on the side.

It quickly sparked a debate over whether Fabio was putting in a double shift after helping QPR claim a goalless draw at Loftus Road earlier in the day.

Or maybe Rafael had turned up in west London without his and had nipped three miles up the road to borrow a pair of brother's boots.
