Whitehead delighted with Stoke goal in Arsenal win

Stoke City goal scorer Dean Whitehead was delighted with their FA Cup victory over Arsenal.

Whitehead insists his team fear no-one after his goal sealed a shock win.

"We have beaten the best team in the Premier League today so we don't fear anyone at the moment, we are playing really well," he told ITV1.

"It was a good day for us. We played well from the start and pressed them really hard, which we knew we had to because they are a top team.

"When they drew level it was a blow for us. We thought the free-kick was a bit harsh but you have to get on with these things, we bounced back in the second half and I think we deserved it in the end."

Whitehead has been a regular at Stoke since signing last summer and was delighted to finally get his maiden strike for Tony Pulis' side.

"It was long overdue, I have had a few chances over the last few months so I was finally glad to get one," the 28-year-old added.
