Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits they've lost skipper Dean Whitehead to a knee injury suffered on Friday.
After their defeat at Wigan, Keane said: "It was a big loss to us, our captain getting injured, but we never got going.
"Our passing wasn't great, our tackling wasn't great, and our defending wasn't great.
"Even after defeat, you look for some pluses. I don't know if you've found one but I haven't yet.
"It's been a hectic week, with two away games, but I do believe you learn more from your defeats than your victories."
