Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta highlighted the importance of avoiding defeat in the Champions League.
City were aiming for 11 straight wins under Pep Guardiola when they made the trip to Scotland to take on Celtic in Europe's premier club competition but came away with just a point after a dramatic 3-3 draw.
After the game, defender Zabaleta was diplomatic with his side's result: "We always play to win and of course we should have won.
"It would have been a great step to qualify for the next round but at this level no games are easy.
"For us it was not the result that we were looking for but when you can't win it is important not to lose."
