Noel Whelan believes, if given the chance, he could turn Aberdeen into the Arsenal of Scottish football. The former Dons player, 34, has already revealed plans to form a dream team with Ron Atkinson if appointed.

He told the Daily Record: "Arsenal would be my blueprint for Aberdeen. That's how I'd make them play. I'd make them good to watch and hard to beat."
