Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song had a big influence in Roberto Soldado's successful move to Tottenham.
The Daily Star says Soldado made a £26m move to Tottenham this summer - and has Barcelona's Song to thank.
Instead of selling his London property last year, the midfield ace opted to rent it out.
So while Tottenham were in transfer talks with Valencia, Soldado was in house negotiations with Song.
And the pair came to an arrangement swiftly to ensure the striker's switch to the capital with his family was a simple one.
