What you playing at? Atletico Madrid deny Gil claims of Real Madrid Aguero bid

Atletico Madrid chief Miguel Angel Gil's claims of a bid from Real Madrid arriving for Sergio Aguero have been denied by his own president.

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has rubbished Gil's comments, insisting no offer has been fielded for their star Argentine.

"If anyone has spoken with the director general, then I do not know about it, but I guess he would say what we always do: Aguero is not for sale and we do not negotiate with anyone," said Cerezo.

Real have also denied the claims, insisting no offer was lodged - though their scouts have tabled impressive reports on the Argentine to general manager Jorge Valdano.

Gil also claimed a bid from Chelsea for Aguero and Diego Godin, which again was angrily denied by the London giants.
