Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas insists his office door is open to all his players.
AVB has dumped Emmanuel Adebayor to the U21 squad this month.
But speaking with The Manager magazine, he insisted: "I believe in open-minded leadership, where everyone understands what I want from them and feels accountable for their own actions and mistakes and wants to work on them.
"I try to create relationships based on trust, confidence and communication and I feel very disappointed when those relationships don't succeed.
"My players know that my office is always open to them and they can tell me anything they want to, professional or personal. I will do everything in my power to help them."
