Ilkay Gundogan admitted it was a crying shame that Manchester City did not get to take to the pitch on Tuesday night.
City were set to host Borussia Monchengladbach in their Champions League opener at the Etihad Stadium but the Group C fixture was postponed due to torrential rain which flooded the playing surface.
Judging from Gundogan's Tweet below, the German was clearly disappointed about not taking on the Bundesliga side, but luckily he and his teammates will not have to wait long as the rescheduled match takes place on Wednesday night at 7:45pm local time.
Check out Gundogan's City teammate Claudio Bravo attempting to avoid the puddles!
