WHAT A GUY! Ronaldo puts Real Madrid ahead of World Cup fitness

Cristiano Ronaldo is putting his World Cup at risk as he helps Real Madrid chase down the Treble. With Real alive in the Liga and Champions League, Ronaldo is determined to do all he can to pull off the Treble, despite carrying a knee injury.

El Confidencial says Ronaldo is suffering tendonitis in his left knee and risks aggravating it everytime he takes the field.

Medical chiefs say Ronaldo needs SIX WEEKS off his feet for a full recovery, but he continues to ignore advice as he battles for the Real cause.

And despite concerns from the Portuguese FA, Ronaldo will not sit out the final weeks of the club season, feeling obliged to do all he can for Real after president Florentino Perez met his demands of a new contract last year.
