Ashley Westwood is delighted with the way he has been welcomed at Aston Villa.

The former Crewe captain has been made to feel welcome by his claret and blue team-mates who have already started treating him as one of the lads.

"The whole set up is unbelievable," he said. "Obviously, Crewe's got a great set up, but this just blows it out of the water, it's phenomenal," said Westwood to the Sunday Mercury.

"The lads help massively, they've been brilliant. At a lot of places you can feel really intimidated, but the lads have made me settle in straight away and I feel like I've been here years already."
