Aston Villa's Ashley Westwood feels the team are confident going into the Christmas programme following last weekend's win over Cardiff. He told Villa's official website: "Saturday's win was something the team needed. We needed a big win at home and another clean sheet is always nice.

"I think you look at the start we've had and we've played most of the top seven to be in that position I think the lads have done brilliantly."
