Westley: Aluko staying with Birmingham

Birmingham City academy chief Terry Westley doesn't expect Sone Aluko to be allowed to stay on-loan at Aberdeen next season.

"I don't think there is any possibility that we'd let Sone Aluko leave," Westley said on the official club website.

"The manager has watched him play for Aberdeen in that European game (Bayern Munich) but he hasn't seen him day in and day out in training, the same with Krystian Pearce (currently on loan at Port Vale).

"I would say for both of those two, along with some of our younger players, pre-season will be a great opportunity for them to show the manager exactly what they're about.

"I don't think the manager will be doing anything with any of those young ones until after the pre-season."
