The W-League provided fans with plenty of goals in Round 3. The Melbourne Victory kicked it off with a 3-0 romp of Perth Glory at Bob Jane Stadium with goals to skipper Tal Karp, Daniela Digiammarco and Louis Bisby.
In Lismore, the Newcastle Jets couldn't get a score on the board as the Queensland Roar grabbed all three points away from home.The damage was done by Courtney Beutel and Lauren Colthorpe with goals either side of half-time.
Adelaide United created a logjam at the top of the table by overcoming league leaders Sydney FC 3-2 in an exciting encounter.
Sharon Black and Victoria Balomenos scored for the home side with Sydney's Lisa Gilbert knocking in own goal to assist the victors whilst Leena Khamis scored her fourth goal in three games for the Sky Blues and Kylie Ledbrook also got on the scoresheet.
And to round off W-League action for week three, Canberra United were defeated at home by Central Coast Mariners 2-1.
