Two West Ham United fans were arrested and cautioned for making Nazi-style salutes during Sunday's game against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, Metro understands. Scotland Yard said two men were arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence contrary to section 31 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

They both accepted a police caution, a spokesman added.

The Metropolitan police also confirmed receiving a formal complaint over the anti-Semitic chanting heard from the section of the ground where West Ham supporters were sitting in Sunday's Premier League clash, which Spurs won 3-1.
