West Ham's Upson urges calm

Matthew Upson insists West Ham have no need to panic after a slow start to the season.

"It's no time to panic at all," he said following Saturday's defeat at Aston Villa. "We were really disappointed not to get something out of the game, as we were at Newcastle and against Arsenal.

"We need to be a bit more clinical and things just need to go our way a little bit more."

The defender also said of his personal form: "I feel really good and fit, but I still think there is another level of fitness that I can reach, but that will come in time.

"The team will stick to what we're trying to do and keep playing the way we have been and believing in ourselves."
