West Ham defender Matthew Upson has likened Robert Green to Arsenal legend David Seaman.

Green has been outstanding for West Ham this season and was unlucky to miss out on the England squad which faced Croatia at Wembley.

Now West Ham star Matthew Upson, who played alongside Seaman at Arsenal, reckons he is ready to stake a claim for the England jersey.

Upson said: "Rob is really performing to a top level. I have played in front of David Seaman a few times and you can see there is a likeness there."
