West Ham's Sears will stick to Palace agreement

West Ham United striker Freddie Sears won't skip out on his agreement with Crystal Palace.

The Sun says Peterborough, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday were also keen on taking the England Under-20 star after West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola agreed he needed first-team experience.

QPR made a last-ditch attempt to lure the 19-year-old to Loftus Road.

But a source close to him said: "Freddie turned them down as he'd already shaken hands with Palace boss Neil Warnock."
