West Ham United's England U21 skipper Mark Noble knows victory in the European Championship final tonight could earn him a place in next year's World Cup squad.
England boss Fabio Capello will fly out for the final in Malmo and Noble said: "With Capello coming in, now there is a lot more joint thinking between the Under-21s and the first team.
"You look at Gabby Agbonlahor and James Milner and you see you can make the step up. There are not as many problems with the young talent in England as people make out. Players are moving up to the full squad and coming back.
"You are playing in the Under-21s to win this tournament but also to get into the full England team. We all know there is a World Cup next year."
