West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison hasn't forgotten his pals at Birmingham City.
Morrison was able to kickstart his career while on-loan at Birmingham last season.
He was due to visit Elland Road yesterday to see Birmingham in action against Leeds United.
"He is coming to Elland Road," Blues boss Lee Clark revealed before kickoff. "I think he's half-expecting to be stripped and play, but I've had a word with him and explained that cannot happen!
"We exchanged texts when he got called up to the England under-21s, and I was congratulating him.
"He thanked myself and the staff for what we had done. We just guided him. He's an unbelievably talented young man.
"And I spoke to him after he scored the sensational goal for the under-21s and he explained then was probably going to be coming to the game.
"I said if he was there, hopefully he could pop in and see the lads as we'd love him to. But, knowing how enthusiastic he is about his football, he'd probably be half expecting to play - that's the worry!"
