Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has revealed West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison was happy to play at St Andrew's for petrol money.
Clark revealed that Morrison was so keen to kick start his career that he took a 50 per cent wage cut to activate his Birmingham loan spell.
"He came with some issues but Terry Mac sat him down every day for two months and talked to him." Clark said. "It was hard at times but we turned him round and I have to say that from November onwards he was no bother at all."
