Momo Diame insists he has no problem competing for a West Ham United midfield place with Alou Diarra.
Diame so far has been preferred by manager Sam Allardyce.
He said: "He is for me more a partner than a competitor. Given the way we play at West Ham, I think Alou was recruited to play defensively and to really help us recover the ball.
"Our coach, Sam Allardyce, likes that type of player in midfield."
