West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole is wary of in-form Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe tomorrow.

Cole is hoping not to see on the Spurs team-sheet is his former West Ham team-mate Defoe.

"He seems to have scored every time he has played this season," said Cole. "We all know what he can do. If you give Jermain a chance he can hurt you and he is back in the England squad and really eager to impress.

"He'll be right up for it against his former club."
