Diego Poyet is set to return to Charlton Athletic.

According to the Daily Mirror, the West Ham United midfielder will join the Addicks on loan this month following his return from MK Dons.

20-year-old Poyet spent the first half of the season in the Championship with MK and is now expected to head back to The Valley for the remainder of the tier two campaign after making 18 appearances for Karl Robinson's side.

Poyet started his senior career with Charlton in 2013, after doing through the London club's youth academy, before joining the Hammers in the summer of 2014.
