West Ham United are ready to sell Thomas Hitzlsperger.

The Mirror says it has emerged that Sam Allardyce is willing to let midfielder Hitzlsperger leave Upton Park for the right price.

The German midfielder is one of just a handful of players offered a contract by owners David Gold and David Sullivan following the club's relegation.

But Allardyce is understood not to be a fan and is looking at alternatives.
