West Ham United directors remain confident Sam Allardyce is the right man in charge.
The Mail on Sunday says West Ham's owners have become increasingly concerned as the club has slumped towards the foot of the table.
But after much discussion and soul searching they have decided that none of the potential replacements would, in the circumstances, be able to do a better job of digging the Hammers out of the mire than Allardyce.
