West Ham will hand Moyes bumper January transfer budget

West Ham are ready to back David Moyes with healthy transfer budget for the winter market.

The Sun says they are ready to back Moyes with a £30 million war chest.

The Hammers will bolster Moyes' squad in the January window using cash originally set aside to buy Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho.

Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho says a move could be resurrected despite the bad blood left between the clubs over the deal.

Moyes will take time to assess what he needs but Carvalho could be on his radar with only Pedro Obiang as a genuine holding midfielder.

The Hammers are also looking at £5million-rated Hajduk Split midfield ace Hamza Barry, 23, who has been watched by Everton and Watford.
